still transferring LOL [23 Jun 2009|06:52pm] I've been thinking of watches lately. I like watches. I have two now. One white, one black. White huh? Yeah, white. White is, usually not my choice but this white, was okay. Rather white, as white things are wont to be though. But it's not too big, and hence, not too white. Fairly similar, nothing close to the Starck one I wanted earlier. But it was too big. Oh well, what can you do right? I'd say grow a wrist [new one] but I think the appropriate phrase is, grow a backbone. Against watches? Against design? Who knows. This sitting position is so unergonomical. But it's so comfy. I think I look like a slug in front of my workstation now, just vegging out. Good thing a) I'm short b) my seat height is adjustable c) everyone's left d) I'm hidden. The hidden workstation slug. Yuppies don't ever veg out, they just bitch at the water cooler right? Then they have their fancy cocktails at 21. Ugh. So, watches. Watches are important to me, extremely important. Sans watch I'd be asking the time every 3 minutes. I hear sexy footsteps, sitting upright a wee bit. Head back to the chair, vegging out. Time is not the most important thing to me, but knowing the time is. That's why I always have a watch, or at least my phone but it's half the fun. Really. My black watch is getting a bit beat up. Have you seen the white? It's gorgeous. But white isn't my colour, never has been, so.. yeah. But now I have a white watch-- hmmm. I want the Issey Miyake watches. Gorgeous. Moreso than my white Casio, exponentially so perhaps, almost. Price wise and looks wise. Comparatively anyway. Not pound for pound. And watches with light are important too so I can tell the time in the dark and not blind everything around me including myself when telling the time in the dark. I don't quite care for leather straps, but I hate typical metal ones hahahaha just haven't found the right one I assume. The red of my black however is so.. faded. Sorry for the Godzilla white pic.
